Where to look for the right information
Choose the source that holds the information rather than relying on a copied arrest listing. The NCSO inmate or confined-arrests feature is temporarily unavailable during its migration to a new inmate-information system. For a custody or supervision status, use Nevada S.A.V.E.; for a particular booking record or releasable photo, use the county’s public-record route. A response under Nevada NRS Chapter 239 is due no later than the fifth business day, but that is a response standard, not a promise of immediate release, a photo, or a fee waiver.
- Use the Nye County booking and custody lookup for the combined official roster, S.A.V.E., records-request, court, and state-custody pathways.
- Use Nevada S.A.V.E. for custody or supervision searches and notification requests. It is a status-and-alert service, not a booking-photo gallery.
- Submit a specific request through the Nye County Public Records Request page for an NCSO arrest report, inmate record, booking face sheet, or releasable booking photograph. Ask for an electronic copy and a fee estimate before chargeable work.
- Use Nye County Courts to identify the appropriate justice or district court for a case disposition. A booking allegation is not a court outcome.
- For a person in state custody or supervision, use the official Nevada Department of Corrections Offender Search. It does not cover every local jail booking.
- For an official warrant-check context, use Wanted Fugitives. Do not treat a third-party listing as confirmation of an active warrant.
